JustKidding Store is the perfect one-stop-shop for modern parents who want to provide their children with a fun, safe, trendy and comfortable environment to grow up in. The Store stocks more than 55 mainly Western quality brands ranging from colourful strollers to super safe car seats, fashionable furniture with a sheer endless choice of interior design accessories and several hip and funky clothing labels for babies, young children and mothers-to-be. Last april 2009 JustKidding was awarded ‘Best New RetailBrand of Year‘ as well as ‘Rising Star of the Year‘ by a jury of industry professionals during the annual award-ceremony hosted by leading magazine RetailME. JustKidding was founded by four parents:
Annemarie Boenk - Retera
Former bankmanager Annemarie is JustKidding’s General Manager and mum of 2, Tijn & Famke. Annemarie combines motherhood with her busy job and loves to work-out in between. She enjoys fine dining and spending time with the kids. Annemarie manages not only the store in Dubai, with help of a team of 12 people, but also this webshop. Sencha de Groot - Chung
Born in Korea, but raised in Jordan, Sencha is fluent in Arabic. Within JustKidding Sencha is responsible for PR. Sencha has two daughters, Chloe and Jade. Sencha loves shopping and enjoys her weekly appearance on Sabagh Al Arabia, the sunday morning tv-show in which she tells the many viewers in the Middle East what’s hip & happening in babyland (click here to see an example). Ben Boenk
Ben is the CEO (or as we call him ‘Big Daddy’) of DutchKid, the parent company of JustKidding that is wholesaling the brands you find in the store. Former owner of a partycatering company Ben is married to Annemarie and hence the father of Tijn and Famke. Patrick de Groot
Sugar daddy (CFO) Patrick is the husband of Sencha. Patrick used to work for International hotel chains before joining the JustKidding-team. Patrick is, next to two gorgeous daughters, blessed with 2 right hands and enjoys the better DIY. Patrick has lived in the Middle East for over 13 years.
