There’ll come a time in the day when you will want to prepare a meal, take a shower or run to the door to receive something. And at which point you’ll ask yourself “Where should I put the baby?”

Enter the baby bouncer. Parents today can’t do without a baby bouncer or baby swing. These little seats provide a place for babies to play or rest while you can get things done around the house. Just put one in the room with you, strap in your baby and the rocker will set baby in motion.

A common question that’s asked when shopping for these seats is what’s the difference between a baby bouncer, rocker and swing? Let’s take a look:

Baby Bouncers

Baby bouncer is recommended for when baby is awake. The motion of this bouncy chair is intended to keep your baby stimulated and entertained. They will also feel less constricted in terms of movement so they will probably be happy staying in this type of seat while watching you going about your day. This is not the sleeping type of seat. These don’t necessarily need power since the bounce motion can be generated from the baby’s movement or you nudging the chair.

Baby Rockers

Baby rockers typically mimic the rocking movements when you want to put your baby to sleep, rocking from side to side or forwards and backwards. It’s important to remember that all babies aren’t lulled in the same way so you may buy a perfectly good rocker only to find your baby prefers other motions. So be sure to get a rocking chair that baby likes!

Baby Swings

With baby swings the goal is also to put your baby to sleep but with more elaborate movement, often generated by an electrical motor that produces a swinging motion. If your baby struggles to fall asleep but loves snoozing in the car this could be a dynamic solution in the house.

These baby seats are essential products that make parents’ lives easier and also little ones happier. The movements and sounds are what some babies need to fall asleep, so can be more valuable than a baby cot or playpen, or even baby carrier if you want to give your back a rest.

We offer a variety of baby bouncers & rockers, from bouncers that swing gently to help your child nod off to sleep, to bouncers with toys to help stimulate your little one during playtime. Whatever type of baby bouncer you’re looking for, you’ll find one for you at JustKidding.
